Pattern License Policy

When purchasing a product from AlphaPatternss.com, you are purchasing a digital file and receiving a limited license to use that file under the terms set out below.

All intellectual property rights remain with AlphaPatternss.

1. Personal Use

You may use purchased files for personal, non-commercial purposes, including:

  • downloading and storing your files
  • printing copies for your own use
  • sewing garments for yourself
  • creating handmade gifts for family or friends

2. Small Handmade Business Use

You may sell handmade finished garments personally made by you using our patterns, provided that production remains small-scale and artisan in nature.

This permission does not extend to factory production, outsourced manufacturing, or mass commercial production.

3. Prohibited Uses

Unless expressly authorized in writing, you may not:

  • resell, share, or distribute digital files
  • upload files to websites, forums, groups, marketplaces, or cloud sharing platforms
  • reproduce files for resale
  • trace, copy, or adapt patterns for resale
  • claim the designs as your own
  • remove logos, branding, or ownership notices
  • use patterns for industrial or large-scale manufacturing

4. Ownership

Purchase of a product does not transfer ownership of the pattern, artwork, instructions, branding, or design rights.

All rights remain reserved by AlphaPatternss.

5. Violations

Unauthorized use may result in cancellation of access, refusal of future sales, takedown requests, or legal enforcement where appropriate.
